HICARB is a high-performance carbohydrate drink mix designed to fuel your endurance training and racing. Each sachet delivers 50 g of carbohydrate in an optimum 1:0.8 glucose-to-fructose ratio, helping maximise carbohydrate absorption and delivery during exercise.

Standard single-carbohydrate and traditional 2:1 mixes saturate intestinal SGLT1 glucose transporters around 60g/hour, causing stomach distress, bloating, and slumping energy. HICARB's 1:0.8 ratio activates both SGLT1 (glucose) and GLUT5 (fructose) transporters simultaneously, allowing your body to process 90g to 120g+ of fuel per hour effortlessly with superior stomach comfort.

Simply mix 1 sachet with 300–500 ml of water in your bottle or bidon. Shake thoroughly for 20–30 seconds. Use 300 ml for a richer, more concentrated energy drink, or 500 ml for a lighter taste and more fluid.

Before exercise: Drink 1 sachet in 400–500 ml of water 30–60 minutes prior to a hard workout or race to top up liver and muscle glycogen stores.

During exercise: Consume 1 to 2 sachets per hour (50g to 100g+ carbs/hr) during workouts lasting over 60–90 minutes to keep carbohydrate coming in when you need it most.
