The 2021 Position Stand from the International Society of Sports Nutrition concluded that sodium bicarbonate can meaningfully enhance high-intensity exercise performance, with more than 150 peer-reviewed studies supporting its ergogenic effects. Most research protocols use doses of 0.2–0.3g per kilogram of bodyweight, an evidence-based range that FLYCARB follows. However, traditional bicarbonate strategies are often associated with gastrointestinal discomfort, which can limit practical use. BICARRB is formulated to minimise side effects while improving palatability and usability, enabling athletes to feel the proven performance benefits of bicarbonate with a much better overall experience.
