BICARRB is thrilled to celebrate two outstanding achievements from our athletes: Ted Enser's Welsh 400m Championship victory and Vinny Magnusson's new Icelandic 3000m record.
Ted Enser: Welsh 400m Champion
Ted Enser showcased his sprinting prowess at the Welsh Indoor Championships, cruising through the heats with a rapid 52-second performance. In the final, Ted turned on the turbo, smashed through the lactate wall, and clinched the Welsh Indoor 400m title in spectacular fashion. ?
Ted’s victory marks a significant milestone as he becomes Team BICARRB's first national sprints champion.
With the outdoor season approaching, Ted is set to continue his upward trajectory. We’re backing him to step up yet again and achieve even greater heights in 2025. Incredible work, Ted! ?
Vinny Magnusson: Icelandic 3000m Record
At the BMC Indoor Meeting in Sheffield, Vinny Magnusson delivered a stunning performance, setting a new Icelandic national record in the 3000m with a time of 7:45.13.
Vinny took the race to the field with confidence, showcasing his dedication, talent, and drive. With this achievement, Team BICARRB celebrates its fourth national record in as many months, and we're excited to see how many more records can be broken in 2025.
The BICARRB Edge
We're particularly proud to support athletes in both sprinting and middle-distance events. While the benefits of bicarb are well known in middle-distance events, we're increasingly seeing uptake in power athletes. By helping to buffer lactate, BICARRB enables athletes to maintain high performance levels through multiple rounds of competition, ensuring they stay strong from start to finish.
