The 2026 Glasgow Commonwealth Games ran a reduced programme of sports, but it was still a powerful demonstration of the wide range of events where BICARRB excels. From the banks of the velodrome to the lanes of the pool, FLYCARB athletes put on a show, walking away with golds, Games records, and historic double podiums.
Anna Morris: Domination in the Velodrome
Anna Morris had an unforgettable week representing Wales, leaving Glasgow with two gold medals, a historic bronze, and a brand-new Games record.
-
Team Pursuit Bronze: Anna kicked off her campaign by anchoring Wales to their first-ever medal in the women’s team pursuit alongside Megan Barker, Ciara Oliva, and Jess Roberts.
-
4000m Individual Pursuit Gold: Anna delivered a pure display of sustained power, storming to gold in a Games-record time of 4:24.272.
-
Points Race Gold: To top it all off, she took gold in an exhilarating, tactical points race, edging out teammate Jess Roberts for a Welsh 1–2 finish.
Flynn Southam: Pure Speed in the Pool
Over in the pool, Australian powerhouse Flynn Southam showed what maximum buffering capacity looks like when sprinting flat-out against the best in the world.
-
4 × 100m Freestyle Relay Gold: Opening the relay, Flynn threw down a blistering 47.09 first leg, breaking the individual Commonwealth Games 100m freestyle record right out of the gate. Teammates Kai Taylor, Harrison Turner, and Kyle Chalmers carried the momentum home to secure gold in a championship-record time of 3:09.49.
-
50m Freestyle Silver: The #FlyingFlynn followed up his relay heroics on Sunday by tearing through the water to claim a massive silver medal in the 50m Freestyle Final.
One Fuel, Two Very Different Demands
Whether it’s holding a punishing pace over 4,000 meters or exploding off the block for a 50m dash, the strain on the body is immense. BICARRB was designed to help elite athletes manage the physiological demansds of elite sport and perform at their best.
Seeing Anna and Flynn back up heavy race schedules with world-class performances day after day proves exactly what's possible when talent meets precision nutrition. Massive congratulations to both of them on an incredible Games!
