FLYCARB Awards FAST Grants to Nine Athletes

Jack Gray Jack Gray

Each year in the spring, we launch our FAST Grant scheme. It is one way for us to give back to our community by providing direct financial support to athletes working towards ambitious sporting goals.

The response was incredible, and a reminder of what we love most about running FLYCARB. We received applications from athletes across a wide range of sports, backgrounds, and performance levels, each with their own story of commitment and ambition.

After a difficult selection process, we are delighted to announce that nine athletes have been awarded FAST Grants.

A Broad Range of Talent

As a company founded in the UK athletics scene, running remains at the heart of FLYCARB and represented the majority of applications and awards. However, a rapidly growing range of sports and geographies was represented too, demonstrating just how diverse our community has become as the company has grown.

This year's recipients range from promising young athletes beginning their journeys to experienced competitors still pursuing major championship and Olympic ambitions. Their sports span everything from running to alpine skiing.

Among them are athletes targeting Commonwealth Games selection, international representation, and long-term Olympic goals.

From Local to Global

While several grant recipients are based close to home in the UK, we were also pleased to support athletes from as far afield as New Zealand and the United States.

Despite their different sports and backgrounds, all nine athletes share the same determination to improve and compete at the highest level possible.

We are excited to follow their progress and share updates on their journeys over the coming months.

Thank you to everyone who applied. The quality of applications made selecting the final recipients incredibly difficult, and we were genuinely inspired by the stories we received.
