FLYCARB Athletes Earn Commonwealth Games Selection Around the World

When we launched FLYCARB, our focus was small: help runners in the UK perform at their best with access to affordable bicarbonate products.

Fast forward a few years, and it's incredible to see how far that journey has taken us.

As the squads for this month's Commonwealth Games in Glasgow have been announced, we're proud to see FLYCARB athletes selected across multiple sports and representing countries from around the world.

Among those selected are FAST Grant recipient Archie Davis, who will represent England in the Mile, Will Roberts, who has been selected for Wales in track cycling, and several athletes on the Australian swimming team.

It's a reminder of how much both FLYCARB and bicarbonate supplementation have grown. What began with a strong presence in UK athletics has expanded into cycling, swimming, rowing, team sports, and many other disciplines. At the same time, we've gone from supporting athletes primarily in the UK to working with athletes across Europe, Australia, North America, and beyond.

Every sport has different demands, but many share moments where the ability to sustain repeated high-intensity efforts can make the difference between winning and missing out. It's exciting to see more athletes and coaches recognising where bicarbonate can fit into their performance strategy.
