FLYCARB 5KM | Sunshine, Records & Personal Bests

Jack Gray Jack Gray

Yesterday we held our first ever FLYCARB 5KM, delivered in collaboration with >tempo. With perfect conditions and a stacked field, the results spoke for themselves.

Two course records fell, with the winning times of 13:51 in the men’s race and 16:00 in the women’s. Across the field, 23 men broke 15 minutes, and five women ran under 17:00, alongside countless PBs.

Our mission was to put on fast races, enabled with quick courses and dedicated pacemakers. Mission accomplished 🤝

Race Winners

Joe Tuffin took the men’s title in 13:51, running controlled splits before closing hard to set a new course record.

In the women’s race, Maddie Jordan-Lee delivered a standout performance to win in 16:00, breaking the course record and her PB. She was pushed all the way by Meg Gadsby, just one second behind in 16:01.

The Atmosphere

Great pacing, strong fields, and a brilliant atmosphere made it a day to remember. Thanks to >tempo for making it happen, and to Sublime Timing. Results are live, but still provisional. Please let us know if you spot any issues.
