Doctor, Doctor, how do I run a sub-2:20 marathon?

Dr. Norman Shreeve delivered yet another outstanding performance at the Valencia Marathon, clocking a superb 2:18:08, just two months after his remarkable 2:17 finish at the Berlin Marathon.

This achievement cements his place among the UK’s top marathoners, ranking 17th overall and 4th in the British Masters rankings for 2024.

Norman’s story goes far beyond the racecourse. He’s not only an exceptional athlete but also an NHS Obstetrician, Clinical Lecturer in Fetal Medicine, a father to a young family, and a stroke survivor. His resilience and determination are truly inspiring, showcasing what can be achieved through sheer grit and passion.

We highly recommend watching the short film about Norman, created by The Distance Project and 1609 Studios, which is available on YouTube. It provides an intimate look at his journey and is a must-watch for anyone seeking motivation and perspective.

We’re honoured to have Norman as part of #TeamBiCarrb. His dedication, both on and off the racecourse, inspires us all to aim higher and persevere through challenges.
