A Merry Christmas from FLYCARB, and reflections on an incredible year

As the holiday season kicks in, we just want to say a huge thank-you for being part of the FLYCARB family this year.

This time last year, FLYCARB was just two runners, Josh and Jack, mixing and shipping BICARRB DIY-style from Cambridge. A year on, it’s still the two of us, but now we’re a small but mighty company with a professional setup and Informed Sport tested products, supporting athletes across the globe.

It’s been an incredible journey. We’ve loved hearing about thousands of BICARRB-fuelled personal bests, cheering on medals won on the global stage, supporting 10 national records, spreading into new sports, and growing our line of products.

None of this happens without you. Your support, as customers, athletes, coaches, and part of the wider community. is what allows us to build FLYCARB in the way we believe in: athlete-first, science-backed, and accessible. It means we can keep supporting people who, just like us, are striving to get better in training and racing.

We genuinely believe bicarbonate is a super performance aid, and that BICARRB is the best product on the market. With the lower gel volume, better flavours, a combined caffeine–bicarb option, and an accessible price point, we’ve worked hard to create a product that is easier to use and better for athletes than the alternatives.

We’ll still be shipping orders between Christmas and New Year, so it’s a great time to stock up on BICARRB and set yourself up for that New Year PB. Just a heads-up that deliveries may be a little slower than usual due to the bank holidays, and we’ll be taking a short break on Christmas Day to enjoy the festivities ourselves.
